LG Electronics, the Korean consumer electronics and appliance giant, had a lot more than smart phones and 3D televisions to show off at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 5. LG is planning on bringing the power of the Internet to your refrigerator, stove, and other household appliances.

The LG Hom-Bot is a robotic vacuum cleaner that uses dual cameras, ultrasound and infrared sensors to map out rooms and avoid obstacles. The cameras can also be used to send video so you can use the Hom-Bot to monitor the house while you're gone.
