Sphero Smart Phone-Controlled Robot Ball

Sphero is a robotic ball about the size of a baseball ($100) controlled to roll in any direction via Bluetooth by an Android or Apple iOS (iPod/iPhone/iPad) device/app, and is scheduled to hit the market later this year. The ball is 74mm in diameter, glows in a thousand different LED colors, and is charged like an electric toothbrush – no wires – when placed in its charger base. The company is encouraging developers to create special Sphero game apps. All you need is some empty floor space and some play time.
