Water/Energy Efficient Appliances Coming To U.S.?

Hola! Greetings from Spain! I'm at a preview of Europe's largest consumer electronics show, IFA, (September 2-7 in Berlin). A dozen companies showed their wares, which included some appliances designed to minimize both electricity and water usage. When will they be coming to the U.S.? Hopefully soon.

Siemens i-Dos washer/blueTherm dryer

Two machines, two innovations. You pre-load up the washer with a supply of detergent, and the machine knows exactly how much your load needs based on the weight of the load and the fabrics inside the drum. The dryer has a self-cleaning condenser; apparently most of us don't know you have to clean it. A clean condenser means the dryer runs twice as energy efficiently. The pair have been rolled out in Germany, the rest of Europe is next. If they makes it to these shores they'll come from Siemen's sister company, Bosch.
