Water/Energy Efficient Appliances Coming To U.S.?

Hola! Greetings from Spain! I'm at a preview of Europe's largest consumer electronics show, IFA, (September 2-7 in Berlin). A dozen companies showed their wares, which included some appliances designed to minimize both electricity and water usage. When will they be coming to the U.S.? Hopefully soon.

Bosch proEnergy iron

This eco-iron uses 24 percent less power than competing models and has some kind of steam intelligence – it "knows" what fabric you're ironing and how much steam to use. In fact, it has only three settings: "e" (the intelligent setting), off and maximum – sort of an override mode for heavy materials. The plate is made from a ceramic material that glides smoothly over any fabric, and it automatically shuts off after 30 seconds when it's face down, after eight minutes when upright. It retails for 70 euro in Europe (around $100 if/when it gets here).
