In our final collection of the best gizmos and gadgets from this week's Toy Fair, we bring you a toy Mercedes that doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, and walkie-talkies to enable your kids and their friends to stay in touch without using your phone. (Find Part 1 here and Part 2 here.) Oh – happy Valentine's Day!
Got an extra iPhone lying around? Load the Romotive app into it and again into a second iOS device – another iPhone, an iPad or an iPod Touch. Mount your first iPhone into the Romo tractor base and now you can control the combined goofy-faced Romo iPhone robot ($150, June, available now for pre-order) from the second iOS device. You can move Romo around, it can move or dance to music by itself, if can react to you via 13 different emotional states reflected in goofy facial expressions and background colors, if can "see" and follow you – Romo "learns" your face – through the iPhone's front-facing camera. Check out the company's video or my own video from a Toy Fair demo to get a better idea of how much fun Romo can be.
