Smartphones have pretty dumb cameras, so Samsung has unveiled some pretty smart new digital cameras and HTC has introduced some smartphones with smarter digital cameras. Also new this week: a couple of smart ways to carry your smartphone, and a smart solar powered iPad keyboard case.
Samsung has introduced a new slate of cameras in its NX "compact system camera" series – point-and-shoot cameras that act like D-SLRs. All three feature massive 20.3 megapixel CMOS imaging sensors, interchangeable lenses just like D-SLTs, and Wi-Fi – you can wirelessly email photos or upload them to a social networking site or Microsoft's SkyDrive cloud storage, or directly to an Android device.
