No home is complete sans a 90-inch HDTV, or a surround sound system with both excellent electronics and speakers, or a way to more easily talk on an iPhone, and no home office is complete sans a new speedy 802.11 AC router, or a router designed for streaming media or copious hard PC file storage.
In most cases, home theater in a box (HTiB) systems are made by companies great at electronics but not so good at speakers, or vice versa. So Denon, not known for speakers, matched its 650-watt, four HDMI jack-equipped HTiB receiver (which it is known for) with Dolby Surround Sound speakers - four satellites, a center channel and a subwoofer - from sister company Boston Acoustics, which knows from speakers, to create this matched system ($600). Just add a Blu-ray player and an HDTV for instant home theater.
