Not that the previous products I've told you about over the last few weeks weren't great, but this final group of new gear from CES may be the most interesting and practical I saw, such as a way to save money on power, powerful paper shredders and arguably the best portable stereo Bluetooth speaker.
A couple of months ago, Bose unveiled the SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker, a portable stereo Bluetooth speaker. This much-smaller Soundmatters foxL V2 stereo Bluetooth speaker ($199; Platinum $229) is a quarter of its size and sounds nearly as good than the larger Bose. It'll boom out sound or conversation for between 5-8 hours on its rechargeable battery, and will sound boomier if you plug it into AC. Best of all, it's an excellent Bluetooth speaker, with conversations sounding about as close to an in-your-ear connection as I've heard, making it perfect for those of you with a home office with just a cell phone.
