Have you got an outlet strip in the kitchen with three or four ugly, black cell phone AC adapters plugged in? Yuch. Replace your wall AC jack with this array ($40), which has two grounded AC outlets and two slide-open USB jacks that supply enough power to charge phones, tablets, digital cameras – anything that charges via a USB cable. And the outlet is smart enough to supply only the amount of power necessary.
