Finally, someone has made a tablet PC with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the star of this week's best new gadgets. On a more practical level, we have a GPS tracking collar for your dog, and a stand with a stylus so you can touch your iPad in the kitchen even if your fingers are filthy.
Here's possibly the coolest idea in tablets for wordsmiths; the keyboard on this Asus slides under the screen creating a seamless whole – you night not even realize there's a keyboard underneath. When you need to type, the keyboard smoothly slides out and the screen pops up on a spring-loaded stand. Too bad you can't adjust the angle, though. As a tablet, it has a 10.1-inch screen with indestructible Corning Gorilla Glass, has a front 1.2 MP camera and a rear 5 MP camera, runs Android's Honeycomb 3.2, and even with the QWERTY weighs just 2 pounds. Both the 16 GB ($479) and the 32 GB ($549) versions will be out later this month.
