Ravi, The Instant Wine Refresher

By the end of a dinner party, the wine can get a little tepid. Slap this baby on the bottle ($40), though, and the red or white that pours out is as chilled as if you just took it out of the cellar. Of course, the Ravi isn't a miracle worker – you have to keep it in the freezer for six hours before use, and there's something about thumbing an air in-take valve before you pour, and there are complex cleaning instructions so the flavor of the Merlot your sipped yesterday doesn't linger in the Chardonnay you taste today. The Web site, though, has a video demonstration.
