Apple has never ever exhibited at CES, but the company's presence nonetheless is felt all over the show floor, especially in the 300-plus iLounge booths, which represents around a tenth of all the CES exhibits. Amid the cases and bags, here are a half dozen iPhone/iPad/iPod gadget CES highlights.
One of the biggest complaints about iPad and iPhone is their lack of a micro USB card slot to supplement memory. But you add memory – albeit not as elegantly – to either via one of these i-Flash external flash memory drives in 8 GB ($100), 16 GB ($150) and 32 GB ($200) capacities. At one end of the i-Flash drive is Apple's 30-pin, with a standard male USB jack at the other. This allows you to sneaker net transfer files from your PC to your iPad and, theoretically, vice versa, via the company's i-Flash app, although the company didn't provide a demo.
