SimpleHuman Sensor Mirror

Instead of groping for a light switch and squinting into a standard bathroom mirror to adjust your make-up, lean into this SimpleHuman stainless steel 5X magnified mirror ($200). When your face gets to around a foot of it, the LED lights around the mirror automatically light up, just like the lovely Mia Fields in the photo. It's got a telescoping rod that raises the mirror to around 16 inches high and the mirror itself tilts to just the right angle for whatever you're applying to your face, lips or eyes. It runs on rechargeable batteries so there's no issue with location.
