Most year-end top gadget lists include the most advanced products and the most ground-breaking technologies. For me, the products of the year are those that have become an indispensible part of my everyday life. And so, in alphabetical order (until my top pick) here are my Top 10 Gadgets of 2011.

Here is the smartest Bluetooth headset ever. Phone rings. I grab this Plantronics earpiece ($100), stick it on my ear, and it automatically connects me – I don't have to touch a single button. It's equipped with sensors and other magic stuff so it knows when it's on your ear, or not. For instance, say you're on a call holding your phone to your ear. While you're talking, you don the Voyager, and the call automatically transfers to the earpiece. If Voyager is off and in your pocket, it locks itself – bumping its button won't accidentally turn it on. Not only is the Voyager Pro convenient, like all Bluetooth headsets from Plantronics, it gives great range, great battery life, great fit and great sound.
