Top 10 Gadgets of the Year

Most year-end top gadget lists include the most advanced products and the most ground-breaking technologies. For me, the products of the year are those that have become an indispensible part of my everyday life. And so, in alphabetical order (until my top pick) here are my Top 10 Gadgets of 2011.

Eye-Fi Mobile X2 card

I explained and lauded this simple but endlessly useful Wi-Fi-imbued Wi-Fi card in May ("Send Photos, Video From Any Digital Camera"). In short, load this Mobile X2 card ($80) into your digital camera. Load the Eye-Fi software on your computer. Take pictures. The card will then automatically upload your photos from the camera to your PC. You'll never have to worry about transferring photos from your camera to your PC ever again.
