Shopping for a new smart phone as a newbie or switching from one smart phone operating system to another? You've suddenly got some great choices, all 4G LTE, which is becoming the new normal, from every major phone maker (except Apple). And each has at last one special feature to set it apart.
What's The Big Deal: Eco-Friendly. The LG Viper's claim to fame is not a bleeding-edge feature, but the phone itself – like the Exhilarate, Viper is an "eco-friendly" phone, made from 35 percent recycled plastics, but also includes "a charger with a no-load consumption rating of .03W, which exceeds the EC [European Commission] Code of Conduct on energy efficiency," according to Sprint. Even if I don't know what all that means, Viper sounds ecologically responsible. As a phone, Viper runs Android 2.3.5 and is equipped with a 4-inch touchscreen, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a 5 MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, and is another Google Wallet phone.
