Today we'll take a break from reporting on the gadgets on display to bring you a little tour of the show itself. Since CES covers an area the size of more than 35 football fields, this slide show is a pitiful representation, but hopefully it'll give you a flavor of CES's myriad activities.
This is the main hallway in the grand lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center. According to organizers, this is the biggest CES, in terms of physical space, in history – which means, this could be the largest trade show ever in the U.S. Estimates are 140,000 people will attend the show – and that doesn't count the busy bees manning the record 3,100 exhibits. Yeah, it's a might crowded here, sort of like Grand Central at rush hour, only 1,000 times the size. Hey, quit shoving!
