Like Motorola, Nokia has beaten Apple and iPhone 5 to the punch with two new smartphones running Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 (WP8) operating system, the Lumia 920 and the smaller Lumia 820. Both feature colorful styling, and WP8 packs fascinating new features lacking in both iOS and Android. Here's a closer look.

Aesthetically, both the Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 will be dressed in a variety of bright colors. Both will be gaily attired in yellow, red, white, cyan and black, plus the 820 also will come in gray and purple varieties.
