New Canon Digital Camera: First 50x Optical Zoom

Now that all the smartphone and tablet heavyweights are almost finished pummeling each other (we still await the rumored Apple iPad Mini), let's see what some other gadget makers have been up to. Canon, for instance, recently unleashed a slew of new D-SLR and point-and shoot cameras.

More helpful for photographers in the 6D is the inclusion of Wi-Fi so you can wirelessly transmit your photo files. The 6D is built with a 100,000 shutter cycle lifespan and vibration-based dust removal, ISO settings from 50 to 102400 and provides continuous shooting of up to 4.5 frames per second.
