JVC seems to be the first to satisfy the consumer need for 4k2k camcorders with this imposing prosumer $5,000 model, which will be available in April. It'll record 3840 x 2160 4k video in 24, 50 and 60 frames per second, and can also do regular 1920 x 1080p and time lapse video.
