My apologies if you're looking for Part 2 of my report on MagicJack. It's been pre-empted for a day by the latest in a series of "greatest cell phone ever" intros. Today's claimant is the HTC Sensation, which will be available on T-Mobile this summer. Come back tomorrow for MagicJack: Part 2.
On the rear of the Sensation is an 8 GB camera – most phones of this new super phone class have 5 GB imagers – with dual LED flash to brighten up even your darkest night. It also shoots 1080p HD video, the highest resolution possible. On the front of the phone is a low resolution camera for video chatting or self-portraits. More importantly, the Sensation is powered by dual 1.2 GHz processors, at the moment the most processing punch available (or soon to be) in a cell phone. By comparison, iPad 2 has dual 1 GHz processors.
