How to Set Up a Flixster-UltraViolet Library

The UltraViolet service is getting easier to use through its partnership with Flixster movie streaming. You can now register UltraViolet movies, or stream movies from your computer's media library using the Flixster app for computers, iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, and through the Flixster app for Google TV.

To celebrate (and get the word out), Flixster is allowing users to "Gift" movies to their friends through Facebook. Those who accept the gift will set up a Flixster account that includes the free digital movie title. It really becomes yours. You can even download the movie to a computer. You can't choose which movie you gift or get, but it is free nonetheless.

Get Your Free Flixster-UltraViolet Movie

On your Facebook wall, or in the notifications, you will see that a friend has gifted you a "free full-length movie." Click on the link in the posted message.

It wil bring you to the page pictured here.

Clicking on the big orange button will allow you to gift a movie to your friends. You are not required to share with friends, but you may want to pay it forward because you will get more free movies if they redeem their free movie.
