Apple To Change Toys: Hasbro zAPPed Monopoly

Hasbro has transformed three of its iconic games – Life ($30), Monopoly ($30, June) and Battleship ($30, September) into zAPPed games. The most radical change for purists comes to Monopoly – no more Monopoly money. All transactions are now conducted by a credit card that you simply touch to the Monopoly app on an iPad or iPhone screen. Instead of plain Chance, Community Chest and Get Out of Jail cards, you get little games within the game. I'm not sure the Monopoly experience is enhanced by these changes, but it might get your young ones more involved in a little family activity.
