8 Cool New iPhone & iPad Accessories

 

Owning an iPhone or an iPad is half the fun – the other half is accessorizing it. Dressing it up, adapting it to perform other functions, adding gadgets to enhance its usage. Here are eight new iPhone and iPad accessories that will go on sale this summer.

Vogel's RingO iPad 2 Mount System

Rather than RCA's Velcro mount, Vogel's uses a more sophisticated (and arguably more secure) twist & click connection it calls RingO (I guess the cap O keeps a certain English drummer from suing) on its iPad headset mounting system ($99, July). When disconnected from the headrest, the Vogel's iPad mount acts as a protective rear cover. While it lacks RCA's speakers, Vogel's headset mount does offer tilt to correctly angle the iPad screen.
