Great Green Gadgets: Nokero Ed Solar Book Light

"If you want to eliminate the darkness of poverty, start by eliminating darkness" is the philosophy of Nokero, is a company dedicated to bringing solar light to developing countries. It's latest contribution is this clip-on solar LED book light ($6, less in volume if you want to send some to an impoverished community) with a flexible neck, designed to help kids in remote villages to read and study once the sun goes down. An hour in the sun provides 90 minutes of reading; 10 hours of sun exposure gets 15 hours of light.
