Is it time to get mom an HDTV? Or maybe a new one and move her old one to the bedroom? I suggest the 42-inch Panasonic TC-P42X3 plasma. It retails for just $600 but Amazon is selling it for just $532.43 (as of this writing) with free shipping (although it obviously won't get there by Sunday), a ridiculously low price. Why this model? I always suggest plasma over LCD, and Panasonic makes arguably the best plasma HDTVs. But this set also has an SD card slot so mom can take the memory card out of the Canon digital camera and slip it into the TV to view photos and videos she shot.
