Okay, I don't mean you should go buy your kids or grandkids their Christmas gifts now. But this week is the annual Toy Fair where all the new toys are introduced. Consider this a preview of coming attractions of what the youngster on your holiday gift list will be clamoring for in 10 months.
Most year-end top gadget lists include the most advanced products and the most ground-breaking technologies. For me, the products of the year are those that have become an indispensible part of my everyday life. And so, in alphabetical order (until my top pick) here are my Top 10 Gadgets of 2011.
No more calls, we have a winner. After years of searching, I've found the best sub-$100 in-ear earphones. I've also found waterproof smart phone cases that can accommodate nearly any make/model, a new automatic espresso machine, a Kermit clock radio, and colorful cases for the Amazon Kindle Fire.
