Personal bio-medical measuring devices are becoming more sophisticated and more ubiquitous. Last week, my compatriot Barb Gonzalez brought you a bunch of these health and fitness devices from CES. Yesterday I brought you a baker's dozen health and fitness gizmos and gadgets; here's our final dose.
Your smartphone is not only your go-to device for music playback and navigation, now car makers are enabling your iPhone or Android device to be the brains behind these and other apps in your car. Here's another bunch of cars and car apps, gizmos and gadgets I found from Ford, Hyundai, Kia and Lexus at CES. (See Part 1 here.)
More and more auto makers are building sophisticated infotainment tech into their cars, especially systems that let you access both content and apps from your smartphone. At CES, I spied and tried many car gizmos and gadgets installed in models from Audi, Chevy, Chrysler, Ford, Hyundai, Kia and Toyota. (See Part 2 here.)
Our final group of top 50 CES gizmos and gadgets includes lots of unique ideas and concepts such as a Star Trek scanner made real and one old gadget that gives us an idea of how far we've come tech-wise in less than 20 years.

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we've reached a TV milestone – a fully-featured, fully-connected, full 1080p 60-inch smart HDTV from a major manufacturer for less than $1,000. Among today's other cool new gadgets is a Logitech Harmony remote with a touchscreen and some iPad keyboard alternatives.
The DIY decor idea came to me after I spent a couple of days at a friend's exquisite home in Southampton, New York. The French Country Style reflects her French roots, which show up in many of the details. The result is inviting, charming and comfortable.
