When it comes to learning where are the best deals on Black Friday, here are a couple of the best Black Friday shopping apps. Each include a list of stores, ads and products including hundreds of 2012 Black Friday deals. These apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android can help you to plan your store-hopping strategy for the after Thanksgiving (and on Thanksgiving) day sales.
TGI Black Friday for iPhone/iPad and Android- Best features: comparison prices, email shopping list. This app shows a list of items that are on sale at stores or you can see a PDF of the ad scan (the ad that will be in your newspaper on Thanksgiving morning). When you click on an item, it will display a list of prices at other outlets online including Amazon.com, Walmart, Crutchfield, Best Buy, and more. It is listing the current price. If you look at items prior to Black Friday, you can see the best deals available and compare it to the Black Friday price to determine if it's worth the chaos and crowds. I was choose not to line up at a store to buy a Lexar SD Memory card for my camera that retails for $29.99 will be on sale for $9.99, because it can already be found online for $13.95 without the hassle.
As you peruse the deals from each store, you can add items to a shopping list. The list will display the items and the store where it can be found. It will also show the original price for each product. The shopping list is totaled so you can see if you are staying within your budget. The shopping list can be emailed to yourself or someone else who needs to see it.
Black Friday Powered by DealNews for iPhone/iPad and Android- Best Feature: Black Friday comparison prices, shopping lists includes store opening time. When I opened this app, I found a great deal that was immediately available and I bought it. There were a number of items that I was pleased to see on sale, that I hadn't found when perusing other apps or websites. Shop for items by categories—Electronics, home and garden, appliances—and you'll see a list of sale products displayed with the name of the store and its opening time. When added to a shopping list, you can easily see that you have to go to Walmart at 8 and Target at 9, and Best Buy at midnight. When you click to compare prices, the list includes similar models. When I clicked on comparison prices for a 50-inch Samsung TV, it included different TV sizes and models with other features. This made it easier to see what is available if I'm willing to pay a bit more.
BlackFriday.com iPhone and iPad app- Best feature: Peruse other's published wishlists to get ideas, has more stores than other apps, get cashback for items purchased through app. Browse through BlackFriday.com store ad scan or choose a store to view the products on sale. Add the items to a shopping wishlist by registering with the website. Public wishlists created by other users are available in the app. By perusing other's lists, you can get ideas of sale items that you didn't find on your own. There are more stores and ads listed in this app than in any other. If you can order the item through the app, you will get a certain percentage of the purchase price refunded to you as BlackFriday.com passes on part of their referral sales commission to you.
